I'm one of the mad triad of  Listmamas. We run an informal discussion group for women about women in science fiction and fantasy.
Other stuff about me: I love frogs, they're my absolute favourite creature! I don't really know why I like them so much, but their metamorphosis from tadpole to frog is fascinating.
I'm an avid and voracious reader, I read books so quickly it's a good job I work in a library! I'm a big Harry Potter fan (can't wait for Book 6!) and I'm an incurable Slytherin! I've loved the HP fandom since I read Prisoner of Azkaban on holiday, and that still remains one of my favourite books and is my favourite Harry Potter novel. I'm also a fan of Jean Auel's "Earth's Children" Series, although I'm finding that the later books aren't quite as good. I enjoy books by Terry Pratchett, Louis de Bernieres, Alice Walker, Virginia Woolf and Christie Golden.
I'm a committed Trekkie, loving all manners of Trek from TOS to VOY (I have a soft spot for ENT, but it was shown sporadically in my area so I couldn't get into it.) I love the characters Deanna Troi, Kira Nerys, Jadzia Dax, Lenara Kahn, Kathryn Janeway and Kes, to name but a few.
I've been a complete Ewok nut since I saw the Star Wars trilogy and the Ewoks animated series when I was a little Frog Princess and I would really like to have an Ewok costume one day!
